With The Vampire Diaries ending back in March of 2017, and the end of its spin-off, The Originals, coming to a close this summer, fans are craving more adventure. Julie Plec, the executive producer of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals had something up her sleeve. Now the executive producer of the new spin-off Legacies.
News of this spin-off has been circulating since June of last year finally was announced in March that this show, Legacies, was happening. This exciting new show will follow Hope Mikaelson, daughter of the notorious Klaus Mikaelson, as she attended The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted.
Hope Mikaelson, 17, portrayed by Danielle Rose Russell, along with other gifted children will come together in this new supernatural generation. The beloved actor Matt Davis will be returning to his role as Alaric Saltzman along with his now teenage twin daughters, Lizzie, and Josie Saltzman, portrayed by Jenny Boyd and Kaylee Bryant.
Being one of the last in the line up for CW’s fall premieres, Legacies is set to air on October 25th, right after a new episode of Supernatural.
Now you have all summer to binge-watch The Vampire Diaries and The Originals in preparation for this highly anticipated action-packed series.
